My law practice is limited, almost exclusively, to representing people with medical malpractice claims. I handle most any type of medical malpractice case, but due to my experience and training over the years, I have developed a particular interest, and I believe expertise, in cases concerning:

  • Necrotizing Fasciitis
  • Stroke
  • Heart Attack
  • Meningitis
  • Cerebral Palsy

Some information about me and my practice:

  • I have over 35 years of medical malpractice experience.

  • I am Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.  Of the more than 100,000 Texas Attorneys, less than 2% hold this particular Board certification.

  • I am "AV Preeminent" rated attorney in Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest peer rated standard such legal directory gives to an attorney. According to this directory, this rating "signifies that a  large number of the lawyer's peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for his or her legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards."

  • I am licensed in the state of Texas only. However, on a case by case basis I may, depending on a state's bar rules, be allowed to provide temporary legal services to a resident of another state. Also through a procedure known as admission pro hac vice, I may be allowed to represent a resident of another state in a medical malpractice lawsuit in a state other than Texas, with the collaboration and assistance of an attorney of such other state, and after obtaining appropriate permissions from a Court and/or State Bar.

  • I am married to a physician, who is Board Certified in Internal Medicine  She assists me in the objective evaluation and understanding of the medical care in question. I also enlist the services of other physicians and experts as is necessary to review and work on my cases.

I look forward to hearing from you and I hope I may be of assistance to you.

           Sincerely,
